This is a really controversial issue.
In some countries, cannabis is legal and people are making a responsible and good use of it. It is not crystal clear yet, but it is known to have some therapeutic uses if a doctor prescribes it to you.
In other countries, how people would make use of it is unknown, so that is why it is not legalised yet.

I agree with Ane. This is a controversial and debatable topic. This is not straight forward to answer and various aspects and views need to be considered here such as those from medical, political, legal and so on.

I think it should be legalized where there is evidence of efficacy. There are some cases where cancer patients or children with epilepsy have benefited. The problem with a lot of herbal medicines is that we cannot control how much of the drug plants produce. If we have a strict legal framework for cannabis, we could control this aspect.
